Police arrest six persons Over Rivers University murder

The Police said it has arrested six persons in connection with the killing of a 400-level student at the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt a fortnight ago.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this while giving an update on the case during a chat with newsmen.

Omoni said the suspects were in custody and that they were giving useful information to the police.

This is as he insisted that a locally made pistol and some cartridges were found in the pubic region of the engineering student, Chimena Uzondu who was shot dead by a fellow undergraduate on the campus.

It Would Be recalled that the deceased mother, Josephine Amaechi had faulted the police, saying her son was not a cultist just as She alleged that the gun was planted.
