The Peoples Democratic Party South West Zonal Publicity Secretary, Chief Sanya Atofarati, has hinted at the possibility of the emergence of a South Westerner as the next National Chairman of the Party
He gave this hint while featuring on Crest Fm’s political program, The Platform
Chief Atofarati, who noted that Zoning is important in any political exercise, stressed that the PDP in the southwest has never produced any Chairman at the national level and it wouldn’t be out of place if one emerges from There.
The Zonal Publicity Secretary also explained that the possible outcome of the judgements of the appeal filed by the ousted Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, against the termination of his term of office would not affect plans by the Party to hold the national convention within the 29th and 31st of October.
Chief Atofarati also revealed that the PDP in the southwest is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that it takes over the reigns of government from the ruling All Progressive Congress, at the 2022 Governorship poll in both States.
