Crest Media Academy graduates first set of students amidst accolades.

Broadcasters have again been charged to always acquire needed trainings to be professional in the discharge of their duties.

A Veteran Broadcaster and Former Nigerian Ambassador to the Philippines, Dr Yemi Faronbi gave the charge while delivering a lecture at the maiden graduation ceremony of Crest Media Academy.

Delivering the graduation lecture, the chairman on the occasion, Dr Yemi Faronbi, who applauded Crest FM for being professional at all times, stressed the need for broadcasters to up their games and maintain the ethical standard of the profession.

While noting that knowledge is essential in maintaining professionalism in broadcasting, Dr Faronbi charged graduating students to always seek knowledge.

The Ondo state comissioner for Information, Donald Ojogo who was represented by a Director in the ministry, Mr Williams Olufunmi, applauded Crest FM for blending theory with practical by training the younger generations.

While urging the graduands to always show the professionalism learnt during the training, Ojogo reaffirmed the Ondo state government’s commitment to supporting Crest FM at all times.

A Former comissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon Dayo Awude appreciated the efforts of Crest FM in creating space for young eagles to fly.

The Chairman, Board of Directors, Crest Hills Media Concepts Ltd, Prince Ade Adekanmbi, expressed satisfaction with Crest FM’s performance as it has been able to fulfil the vision of its establishment.

Prince Adekanmbi said Crest Media Academy is committed to training students to be professionals, adding that three best students of the Academy have been shortlisted for employment by the station.

The Chief Operating Officer of Crest Fm Mr Adeolu Gboyega and the Registrar of Crest Media Academy Miss Temitope Dare equally expressed their satisfaction with the graduating students.

Some of the graduands who could not hide their joy appreciated the platform crest fm gave them to learn.

Highlights of the event include taking oath of allegiance, presentation of certificates, presentations by the graduating students, among others.

Also present at the event are a former Chairman, OSRC board, Chief Sanya Oyinsan, a veteran broadcaster, Michael Malomo, freelance broadcasters and other well wishers.
